Claudia:Heyyy. My name’s Claudia. What upp? I have a twin sister, Lorraine (we are fraternal twins which means we DO NOT look alike). People say that we do but I can’t see any resemblance….so when I hear that its just like..ok cool? My parents are divorced and I live with my mom. She usually prepares home cooked meals at dinner but for breakfast and lunch…I’m left to fend for myself L. Kinda sad right? I am an EXTREMELY late sleeper and I usually wake up around 1 or 2…and I’m ALWAYS hungry. My mom is usually somewhere else…like in school and Lorraine is always horseback riding. So then, it’s just me and my dog chillen all by ourselves. Like loners…not fun…and to mention that I can’t eat in peace because my dog always begs…ugh.

Yo, what up? My name is Mallary and what I realized from making this food diary is that I eat at restaurants more than I eat at home because my parents don’t cook. They do not like to cook and they think it is easier if we just go out to eat at a restaurant or something. If I do eat at home, I usually have something small like toast or something.
Ashli
Hi! My name is Ashli Matta and I am sixteen year old. And like most American teenagers, I like to eat a lot. But unlike most, I like to cook. That’s why most of my meals are cooked at home and I cooked by myself. This is because in my house it is “fend for yourself” or in other words if you want to eat, you have to make it yourself. But I often make the meals for my whole family, but unlike most families, we do not eat together. I often eat in my room or on the couch by the television. I make elaborate meals with multiple side items. I find cooking an art form which is why my meals can be so intricate.
Victoria
WHAT UP! I'm Victoria! I love food and mostly everything my parents cook. If and when they do... My typical day with food consists majority of the time with iced coffee, sandwich, apple, nutrigrain bar, and water. ALOT of water. Since I basically have no time to eat dinner on the week nights because of work i usually have food that I can basically warm up in the microwave! I love to snack because that all i have time for! usually I am snacking on crackers and cheese or a small bag of chips. Have fun looking at my food intake!
Hey, I’m Eleanor. As you can see I eat a lot of the same foods, but, I don’t mind, because I love them! I eat most of my meals with my family, and that’s the way it’s been since I was a baby. My parents are divorced, but that doesn’t change my eating habits between houses. Both of my parents cook our meals or we go out for dinner. Lunch and breakfast are done differently because of school and other everyday activities. But, at my dad’s house we have been redoing our kitchen for the last five months so we have eaten out a bunch! But, anyways…I’m basically obsessed with coffee that’s why I have it every morning. Plus, I need it to wake up since I have a horrible sleeping pattern! I LOVE PB&J sandwiches, apples, salad, and ice cream! And a lot of other foods, but those are pretty dominant foods in my everyday eating habits.
Hello. I’m Sydney! A senior, with divorced parents, meaning that I eat at two houses, and my meals tend to be total opposite at each. My dad is an awesome cook, I love when he fixes dinner it always good. My mom on the other hand, not so much. When she does cook, she only cooks like 5 things over and over again. But, she tends to bring good take out home to eat for dinner. I also run cross country every day of the week, except for Sundays. With getting home late after school, I also tend to snack a lot before dinner, not really a good thing. I also eat a lot of cereal, sometimes for every meal, again not that healthy but then again my diet really isn’t!
Carly
I’m Carly, a senior at McGehee. As with most if my friends, I am very busy with school and sports. Because of this, my food choices play a huge part in my day. I tend to eat breakfast once I’m at school because in the mornings I go to physical therapy for a swimming injury. I stop on the way and usually grab a coffee, and then have a banana in my bag. At lunch I go to the trainer at school to work with my shoulder injury, so chip bags and sandwiches are popular. My food decisions revolve around swimming and school, so things like carbs and protein are important. My after practice meals usually contain meat in order to help my muscles recover. However I do give in and have junk food. We love to eat!
